The picture above is some exciting news for Celebration Kids Zimbabwe. This building is the very first ever Celebration Kids building in Africa!! Celebration Kids Zim now has it's own space to call their own and we are very excited about it! As you can see the Kids team is working hard on painting it with fun colors and thanks to your support you have a hand in this :) More pics to follow of the inside once it's completed. This is huge news as before we have never had a permanent location. In years to come the Kids facilities are only going to grow leaps and bounds all over Zimbabwe!

With this exciting news underway I can feel more than ever that I'm getting very close to being in Africa. God is getting everything in place, both here and there. With that being said, have you ever had one of those weeks when it feels like nothing goes right and everything is crashing down on you? That was my week one week ago. In hindsight I truly believe that something good must have been going on with my Zimbabwe work permit and Satan was not happy so he was throwing out all the stops to try and deter me from my calling to Africa. With an attack like that I know I can only be getting much closer to leaving for Africa. But I'm still standing, my mind is made up, my trust and obedience is in God alone and nothing can deter me from my calling to Zimbabwe. I may not know all that God has in store for me or how it's all going to come together piece by piece but I know what God spoke to me in my heart the first time I ever set foot on African soil and held an orphaned child in my arms; and that was that faint whisper of "this is where I need you Shannon." So I hold on to that. And I hold on to the fact that God has more work to do in and through me, in all of us.
